“Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the LORD.”
‭‭Psa 31:24‬ ‭What a precious promise of strength in our heart, which we all need. But this promise is conditioned upon our hope (and faith) in the Lord. We must get our eyes above what man can do, or the arm of flesh, and put all of our hope in Jesus Christ! Hope in Him, for He alone is able.

“Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him…” Heb 7:25 The salvation Jesus Christ provides is not a ‘half-way, weak, almost helps us’ type of experience. Rather, He saves us to the ‘uttermost’! His salvation touches every area of our life. It is a full salvation for every need of our heart and soul. May we, by faith, lay hold of His full salvation.

‭‭Titus‬ ‭2:11-12‬ ‭
It is God’s grace that teaches us to live a godly life in this present world. Grace is never a permission to sin, but it is God’s power in us to live above sin. May we open our hearts to allow His grace to teach us.

The name of Jesus…
“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
Acts‬ ‭4:12‬
In this day when men are accepting a lot of different ‘paths to God’, these words make clear that there is ONLY one way! It is through Jesus Christ and none other. He is THE Way, and the ONLY Way, for sinful man to be made right and come to the Father.

“Blessed is the man whom You chasten, O LORD, And whom You teach out of Your law;” Psa. 94:12‬ ‭
As children of God, we should recognize that our Heavenly Father only chastens us for our good. He is a good Father. It is because of His great love for us that He corrects us when we need it. May we learn to respond humbly to His correction, and say “Yes Father, Thy will be done”.

“…I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; that you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life…” Deu‬ ‭30:19-20‬ ‭God’s Word to Israel is just as true for us today. He is our life. To love Him and cling to Him is to enter into that Life. May we choose Him.

“He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me…” Psa‬ ‭55:18‬ In this world there are many forces that war against our souls. We face battles of all kinds. So it is very important for us to remember, it is only Jesus Who can deliver us in peace. He is greater and stronger than all our enemies. He is our true Deliverer!

“…Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!” Isa‬ ‭6:3‬ ‭The question for us is: Do we open our eyes (and the eyes of our soul) to see His glory? Do we see His glory in creation? Do we see God’s glory in His Word? Do we see His glory in His redeeming love for us?
Open our eyes, Lord to see Your glory.

“Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God…” ‭‭Psa‬ ‭143:10‬
All our lives it was our own will that led us astray. Our will gets us in trouble. What should now be our desire is to learn and walk in God’s will. May we seek His will in His Word and humbly walk in it. He is our God. His will and way is always best.

“…You seek Jesus of Nazareth, Who was crucified. HE IS RISEN!” Mk‬ ‭16:6 What a glorious day this is! What a message to proclaim! We serve a RISEN Savior! What a price He paid for our salvation. May we seek Him, today and every day. May we pour out our lives for Him, as He did for us. Happy Easter!
