“and be renewed in the spirit of your mind,”
‭‭Eph 4:23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
One of the joys of true salvation is that God begins a work in us, renewing our hearts and minds through the power of His Word and Spirit. By His power the pattern of our thinking can be changed until more and more we have the humble and gentle mind of Christ.

“…Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”  II Tim‬ ‭2:19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
This is one of the foundational truths of Christianity. And yet, it is not only ignored but also denied by most all of this modern, watered down religious generation. Christ came to save us ‘from’ our sins. If we say we belong to Him, we must depart from sin. May God help us to depart from those things that grieve His heart of love.

“Uphold my steps in Your paths, that my footsteps may not slip.”  Psa‬. 17:5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.         In this world where sin abounds and religious deception has become the norm, we need constant divine help, if we are to walk in paths of righteousness. May we seek God daily in His Word and through prayer so that He will hold us up and keep us in His righteous paths.

“But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.” Jn‬ ‭3:21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
One of the evidences that we are doing right and walking in truth is, that we are continually coming to THE LIGHT of Christ. Day after day, all through the day, our souls are looking to Him Who is the only Light in this dark world. As we come to His Light, the darkness will pass away.

“…Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, nor let the rich man glory in his riches; but let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord…”.              Jer‬ ‭9:23-24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ The great privilege we have to know Christ in personal relationship and to have Him as our Lord, is the most glorious and satisfying experience possible in this world. Let us enter in to this glory.

“…I will fear no evil; for You are with me…”
Psa‬ ‭23:4‬ ‭NKJV
In this evil world we are living in, there is only one thing that keeps us from fear. That is the Presence of our God with us! That is God’s unfailing promise to His children. He is with us, therefore we shall not fear!

“Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.” Col 4:6‬ ‭NKJV
What a different world this would be if we all “spoke always with grace”! If our every response, our every attitude would be tempered by God’s grace. May God help us to recognize the power of our words either to help or to hurt.

“And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you.”                    Matt‬ ‭24:4‬ ‭NKJV      We are in a time of great deception. Most who profess faith have believed the lies of men about salvation, because it is easier to believe a lie than to change their lives. What we must do, is measure everything we hear against the Word of God. Only the truth can set us free.

“He will not fail nor be discouraged…”           Isa‬ ‭42:4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬    One of the wonderful things about our God is, that He cannot fail!! He does not get discouraged with His work. Because He is God everything He sets out to accomplish, will be done. There is no failure in God!
