“There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.”Prov‬ ‭14:12‬ ‭NKJV
‬‬We all desire to have our own way. Our way seems right to us. But the reality is, God’s way is the only right way. Our way leads to spiritual death, while God’s way leads to eternal life. May we seek to know and to walk in God’s way.

1/19/20

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬
What a wonderful thing to be free of condemnation. But it is very important to understand who this is. It is only those who are ‘in Christ’. Those whose life is defined by ‘walking in the Spirit’. May God help us to live that life, always led by the Spirit of God.

1/18/20

“Lift up your eyes on high, and behold WHO hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: HE calleth them all by names by the greatness of HIS might, for that HE is strong in power; not one faileth.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40:26‬ ‭KJV‬‬
What a joy to know this is our God! He is the One great in power! He is the One Who has promise to care for us.

1/17/20

“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭15:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬
God wants us to be people whose lives are filled with hope, not because of what we see around us, but because of Him Who lives within us. He is the God of hope. Let us anchor all our hopes in Him.

1/15/20

“I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭40:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬
We live in a society that is not geared to waiting. But when we come to God, we must learn to wait. We must learn to be still, calm and patient before Him. He does hear us, but He knows how much we need to slow down. Then He will minister to us and we will discover, the best part of every day is waiting with Him.

1/14/20

“And Isaac dug again the wells of water which they had dug in the days of Abraham his father, for the Philistines had stopped them up…”. Genesis‬ ‭26:18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
There are times in Christian life we have to ‘dig again’ places that once flowed freely. We face enemies that would stop up the wells of living water that are supposed to flow from our lives. May we have the courage to go back and dig again, so that God’s blessings can flow through our lives.

1/13/20

“I am the LORD your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt; Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭81:10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Before we open our mouth to receive, we first must want what is offered. One of the reasons that so few people receive the blessings God has for them is, they don’t desire what God is offering. Do we truly desire the cleansing, purity, and righteousness that God offers? When we do, we will receive.

1/12/20

“Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.”                  Rom 13:10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
When God’s divine love fills our heart, we don’t do things to bring harm to others. Whether spiritual, physical, verbal or emotional, love does what is good and right. Let us seek to do all that we do in love to God and love to others.

1/11/20

“But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.”            Psalms 3:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬
When we are having rough days or discouraged, we often ‘hang our heads’. But how wonderful it is, to know that our Lord is the One Who lifts up our head! He is the Great Encourager! He is the One Who redirects our attention, away from the temporary things of this world, to see Him and His eternal glory that awaits us.

1/10/20

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Rom 5:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬
This is evidence of Divine Love. God didn’t wait until we were worthy, or became good people. He loved us even when we were sinful and wounding His heart. May that same divine love be in our hearts towards others.
