“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Rev‬ ‭21:4‬ ‭This is what we have to look forward to if we will be faithful to Jesus Christ. A life free of all that is bad in this world. Oh how wonderful Heaven will be! May we be faithful to Him so we can make it.

5/30/19

“Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them…” Matt‬ ‭7:12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
This is called ‘The Golden Rule’. But it’s so much more than just a good ‘rule’ that people can take or leave. This is the command of Jesus! It is His law for how we should treat others. It is the ‘Law of Love’ in how we are to deal with our fellow man. Always treat them like you want to be treated, not as they deserve. May God help us to obey.

“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
‭‭Rom‬ ‭15:13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
The hope we have in Christ is an anchor to our soul. God wants us to be full of hope. Hope in Christ assures us that whatever comes our way, He is able to keep us and work all things for our good and His glory. Never give up hope.

5/28/19

“Teach me Your way, O LORD; I will walk in Your truth; unite my heart to fear Your name.”
‭‭Psa‬ ‭86:11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ One of the great problems of modern religion is, there are few who possess “unity of heart”. People are going in too many directions for too many reasons. May God grant us a heart that seeks to please Him alone. May all of our life be unified in seeking to glorify Christ.

5/27/19

“Hebron therefore became the inheritance of Caleb…because he wholly followed the LORD God of Israel.” Josh‬ ‭14:14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬  This verse reminds us of the great blessings God has for those who ‘wholly follow Him’. These are the ones who experience real joy, peace and satisfaction in Christ. Because they have decided to follow Jesus with their whole heart. No more following afar off. May God help us to ‘wholly follow Jesus’.

5/26/19

“who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.”
I Pe‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
What a blessing to know that we can be changed by the power of God! Once I was lost, but now  I’m found. Once we were blind, but now we see. Once we walked in darkness, but now we walk in the Light. Once I was headed for hell, but now I am headed for Heaven. May we daily yield ourselves to the transforming power of Jesus.

5/25/19

“The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them a light has shined.” Isa‬ ‭9:2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
That light is the Light of Christ, the Gospel Light of salvation and hope for all who will trust in Him. But the question for us is: How are we responding to the Light?
Have we left the darkness of sin and are we walking in the Light?

5/24/19

“The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped…”
‭‭Psa‬ ‭28:7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
We have been created to need help. There is no one truly self sufficient. We need help from others, and most of all help from God. And the good news is, our Heavenly Father is always ready to help us! But our part is, to trust Him and to learn to rely upon the help He gives. Thank God, He is our ‘ever present help’ in time of need.

5/23/19

“I will arise and go to my Father…”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭15:18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
These were the words of the prodigal son when he was away and in trouble. But this should always be our response when we are in need or trouble comes our way! Those times we get down under a load of care, let’s determine, “I will arise and go to my Heavenly Father!”

5/22/19

“Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; for He is faithful that promised.” Heb‬ ‭10:23‬ KJV
Because God is faithful and true, because His Word cannot fail, we can hold steady in our life of faith! We don’t have to waver when temptations and pressures come against us. We can live every day with a consistent witness. Hold fast!
