“For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4:15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. One of the amazing things about our Saviour is, that while He is the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, He is also our Merciful High Priest Who is touched by the things we go through in this world. He knows what it is to feel sorrow and loss, to suffer and grieve. He knows the pain of human separation and every difficult thing in this life. He has been here and walked the path before us. He has felt all that we feel. And He loves and cares for us! That is why the next verse says, “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
