“Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:20‬ ‭KJV‬‬
How often we underestimate the supernatural power that God is working in us. We don’t ask largely, we don’t think of big things. Instead, we settle for the weakness of men’s religious ideas. But God encourages us to think about His almighty power that can do all things. Because that is the power working in us.

2/27/20

“I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O Lord my God.”Jonah‬ ‭2:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Jonah’s testimony is common with all of God’s children. We were going down in a life of sin, sinking beneath a load of guilt and condemnation. But then Jesus reached down and lifted us up! He brought up our life from the pit we were in. And thank God, He set our feet on the solid Rock!

2/26/20

“And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the Lord, to deliver thee.” ‭.            Jer.‬ ‭1:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬
The one thing that assures our spiritual victory is the presence of our God. If He is with us, then nothing or no one can stand against us. We will have battles, but remember, He will deliver! By His grace, let us determine to live a life in which our Holy God can dwell.

2/25/20

“The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.”  Exodus‬ ‭14:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬
What a wonderful truth to know, that our God will fight our battles and we can be at peace. The difficult part for us is to keep ourselves humbled and not make the battle our own. Only as we trust Him completely can we leave the battle in His hands. And as we do that we will discover, He never loses a battle!

2/24/20

“Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,”
‭‭Jude‬ ‭1:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬
One of the failures of much of modern religion is that it conditions us for failure. We’re told that we all will fail everyday, and so there is no need to strive. But thank God, we have a Saviour Who is able to keep us from falling! And He will if we will humble ourselves and trust Him.

2/22/20

“The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble…” Nah‬ ‭1:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬
We serve a good God. He is always good and He is good in every way. Being confident of God’s goodness even in the worst of situations, is like occupying a fortified position in battle. Nothing the enemy can do, no matter how bad things may appear, can shake us from our faith in God’s goodness. Thank God He is so good!

2/21/20

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”  Psalms‬ ‭46:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬
The One Who is our refuge and strength, is also our loving Father. It is our perfect, unfailing Father Who is our very present help in trouble. He is never too busy, never lacking ability, nor ever unconcerned. He loves us with a perfect love. More than the best human parent, our Heavenly Father will be to us all that we need.

2/20/20

“And they gathered it every morning, every man according to his eating…” Ex‬ ‭16:21‬ ‭KJV‬‬
This verse is talking about the manna that God sent every morning to His people. It is an example of our daily need to partake spiritually for the needs of our soul. We do this through reading His Word and talking with our Father. May we be faithful to gather the spiritual supply that our Heavenly Father sends us each day.

2/19/20

“Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature…”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭1:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬
What amazing promises God has given us! Promises to share His life with us. When we truly put our faith in Him, He promises to send His Holy Spirit to live in our hearts. The very life of Christ comes to live in these earthen vessels. And through this relationship we are able to be partakers of His holiness.

2/18/20

“Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” 2 Corin‬ ‭7:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Do we realize God’s great promises to us, regarding our spiritual cleansing and holy living? Do we recognize all that Jesus has done, and all the Holy Spirit does, to make a holy people for His glory? May we discover these promises, believe them, and rest our souls on them.
