“Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The Lord reigneth.” 1 Chronicles‬ ‭16:31‬ ‭KJV. This is the message God’s people desperately need to believe and to proclaim, that ‘Our God reigns!’ We need to remember that we serve a God Who is Sovereign, possessing all power and authority! That it is He Who ‘holds the lives of kings in His hands and turns their hearts wherever He desires!’  Prov. 21:1. Our God reigned over all when He created this universe and world. He has reigned over all throughout man’s brief history. And, He will reign every moment of every day yet to come! Nothing that goes on here is a threat to God’s authority over this world. So we as God’s children should rejoice in Him! We should be encouraging others by reminding them that our God reigns! We should show to the world the great blessing of a life where we accept His reign in our hearts and lives. And as we look to the days ahead, we should have peace and rest in our souls, because the God Who reigns over all is our Father.
