“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.” Romans‬ ‭8:37‬ ‭KJV. There are times in our lives when we feel like anything but a conqueror. We go through troubles and times of suffering. We can become discouraged and worried about things happening around us‬‬. We even become fearful about the future. And thank God, He understands our weakness. But here, God is reminding us what He makes possible when we learn to depend on Jesus Christ and we begin to look at things and face things ‘through Him that loved us’. When we surrender our lives to Christ and learn to abide every moment in Him, then every difficulty is faced ‘through His power’. When enemies rage against us, we can triumph over them ‘through His love’. When perplexities come, we can overcome them ‘through His wisdom’. As we learn to face every situation in life ‘through Christ’, then our defeat will be changed to victory! May God help us never to accept the defeatist attitude of modern religion. Instead, let us put all of our faith in Christ and learn to live every moment through Him. And then, through His grace, we will be more than conquerors.
