“O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God! Behold, the Lord God will come with strong hand…” Isaiah‬ ‭40:9-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬. In this day of almost all bad news, it it sometimes difficult to find someone with good tidings. But God’s people should be different than the gloomy attitude of this fallen world. We have the best news that anyone can ever hear! We can tell them of the Saviour, Jesus Christ, Who has come to take away the sins of the world! What a wonderful thing it is to be able to share the good news of Who our God is and what He’s done for us! And what a comfort it is, to know also, that He is coming again. We can spread the good news that He is coming again with strong hand to bring this world to a glorious conclusion! He is coming in power and glory. Let’s not be those who spread bad news. Instead, let us share the good tidings of Jesus Christ, our glorious Saviour, the One Who is the answer for every need we have.
