Part 4 ”He telleth the number of the stars; He calleth them all by their names. Great is our Lord, and of great power: His understanding is infinite.” Psalm‬ ‭147‬:‭4‬-‭5‬ ‭KJV‬‬. As we consider these marvelous truths about our Lord gathering the outcasts and healing the broken hearted, we should pause to consider, Who it is that does these amazing things. So often when we think of Jesus coming to this world to do these things we forget Who He is. We forget that He stepped down from a throne of glory and condescended to such undeserving people like us. But when we recognize the One Who is bringing healing to our hearts it will fill us with great joy and peace. Our Healer is the One Who created all things by His own power. He is the One Who hung the stars in space and named each one. He is the One Who upholds all of this universe and keeps everything in place. He is the Great and Mighty God! He knows and understands all things. Every pain we feel, every tear we shed, every heartache we suffer, He knows all about it and is touched by our suffering. Let us rest in this great truth of Who our Lord is. As we do, we will soon know that there is nothing too hard, no life so broken, but our great Healer is able to restore.
