“Then Queen Esther answered and said, “If I have found favor in your sight, O king, and if it pleases the king…”‭‭Esther 7:3‬.
Esther understood what many today seem to have lost sight of. Which is, that everything we do should be to please our Heavenly King! His favor and His approval are what we should be living every moment for.  Psa 30:5 “In His favor is life!” May God help us to please King Jesus.

“And they that know Thy name will put their trust in Thee: for Thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek Thee.” Psa 9:10.
The better we know our God, the more we will trust Him, because we will discover He is trustworthy.  God never forsakes those who seek and trust Him. May we determine to seek Him with our whole hearts, to know Him better and trust Him more.

“But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” I Jn‬ ‭1:7‬
If we want the cleansing to continue, then we must continue walking in the light and having daily fellowship with Jesus. It must be an ongoing relationship.

Isa 54:17  No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Safety is promised the servants of the Lord.  Why should we be afraid of mere humans when we have the almighty Creator on our side?  The servants of the Lord are promised that ultimately no weapon, no slander or lies will prevail against us.  This is our heritage.  Take courage, continue faithful, trusting God in the midst of opposition.

“And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You.” Psa‬ ‭9:10‬
It is only those who seek God that truly come to know His name. In seeking Him we discover that He is trustworthy. He is loving and kind and merciful. And He will never forsake those who love Him.

“Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”
II Cor‬ ‭7:1‬   The promises of God that we find in His Word are the foundation of our hope for spiritual cleansing. He promises power to every willing soul, that sin’s guilt can be removed  and the bondage of every sin broken. But first, we must believe and have a true desire to be clean.

“Look on my right hand and see, For there is no one who acknowledges me; Refuge has failed me; No one cares for my soul. I cried out to You, O LORD: I said, “You are my refuge and my portion…” Psa‬ ‭142:4-5‬
In the loneliest hours of his life, when David thought no one else cared for him, even then he found that God was his refuge and satisfying portion. Our God is always enough!

“Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.” Psa 55:22. When we bring our burdens, our cares, our worries to God, He will sustain us.  He will keep us and support us. Part of ‘casting our burdens’ is being willing to let go. Let go of our worry, let go of our anxiety, let go of our fears. Help us Lord to trust You enough to let go.

“And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?“ Jn 11:26
To ‘believe’ in Christ is a continuous, ongoing activity. It’s not a once and done decision. It is Believing into a new relationship. It is everyday trusting and following the living Savior. Through that relationship we experience life eternal.

“Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill and to Your tabernacle.” ‭‭Psa‬ ‭43:3‬ ‭
God is so faithful to send us His truth and light! He teaches us and shows us the right way, which always leads to Him. But the question is: ‘Are we following?’ Are we yielding to His truth and being led, or are we going our own way?
